Setting Up your Addresses
Before you can begin to use your new email accounts you will first need to select your addresses using the control panel.
Mailboxes
- First log in to the domain control panel with your domain username and password
- From the Settings Menu, select "Users Settings" >> "Add a User"
- Choose a username for your new user, this needs to be unique across the whole system so choose something like "abc01"
- Enter a password in the two password boxes and the user's first and last name
- Select "Domain Email" from the drop-down list and enter your desired email address in the box
- Make sure the "Create SMTP auth" box is ticked
- Click "Update"
Please note that it can take up to two hours for your new address to begin working.
Email Forwarding Addresses
- First log in to the domain control panel with your domain username and password
- From the Services menu, select "Email" >> "Mail Alias"
- Select "Mail Alias" from the drop-down list
- Enter the source mailname and destination address in the two boxes
- Click "Update".
Please note that it can take up to two hours for your new address to begin working.
Setting Up Your Email Program
In order to download and read email from your mailbox you will need to add the details of your new email account into your email program. Most email programs will need the following information:
- Email Username: this is the username you chose when you set up your address
- Email Password: this is the password you chose when you set up your address
- Incoming Email Server: mail.<your domain name> (e.g. mail.example.com)
- Outgoing Email Server: mail.<your domain name> (e.g. mail.example.com)
- SMTP Auth: enabled
- SSL or TLS or SPA: disabled

Using Webmail
You can also read and send email using our Squirrelmail webmail system. To access Squirrelmail, please visit http://www.<your-domain>.com/squirrelmail/ in a web browser, then log in with your email username and password.
When you first log in to the Squirrelmail system you will need to set up your personal details. On the first screen, click the "Options" link at the top, then select the "Personal Information" link. In the first two boxes, enter your full name and your email address as you would like them to appear in the "From" field of outgoing email, then click the "Submit" button.
