Adding an Email account to the Blackberry Email Client

Quick Guide

1. Log in to the BlackBerry Internet Email Service.
2. On the menu bar, click Profile .
3. On the profile page, in the Email Accounts section, click other email accounts.
4. On the Email Accounts page, click Add Account.
5. In the following fields, type the account information.
   • Email Address: Type the full email address of the account (for info@example.com)
   • User Name: Type your login ID (for example, abc01).
   • Password: Type the password for the account.
   • Re-enter Password: Retype your password.
6. Click Submit.
7. Depending on the type of email account,you might be prompted for the following information:
   • Email Server: Type "mail." followed by your domain name, e.g. "mail.example.com"
   • Port Number: Type 110.
   • Leave messages: If you clear this check box, messages that are sent to your hand-held are not saved on the mail server. This means that if you delete a message from your hand-held, you cannot recover it.
8. Click Submit.
9. Messages that are sent to this email account are now delivered to your hand-held.
